E-publishing services as flowable (Kindle/basic epub) or Fixed Layout (Apple Books) delivery – vendor specific. Digital publishing files are checked via FlightDeck. Adobe InDesign is the world's most flexible publishing platform. It is the industry standard for traditional print projects, PDF and interactive PDF, and now - with a little help from Ajar Productions IN5 plugin, rich HTML5-powered web-based publishing that supports video, audio, animation, thumbnails, full-screen mode, and social sharing. Interactive publishing is viewable on any computer, laptop or tablet. It's not for traditional ereaders. It falls into three basic categories:
Level 1: Interactive PDFs published to Adobe's Cloud or your website.
This PDF is handy for evergreen publications, and unlike a website – there's less of a committment to upgrade code. Adobe's cloud format is also embeddable, so the document can live at Adobe and still appear in your website. Notice the lower toolbar below the page thumbnails.

Level 2: Flipbooks that support audio, video and animation
Rich magazines, newsletters, coffee table books – virtually any kind of story – displayed as a screen/full screen book or flipbook. Delivered in a folder that you can simply upload to the web server location of your choice. Scales to work on any device, and can be designed for any size to create a truly focused, elegant and immersive content experience.

Level 3: Full-blown animation, immersive exploration
Educational projects, light gaming, and any topic-focused presentation that doesn't require a strict walkthrough from chapter to chapter, but encourages discovery. Scales to work on any device, and can include all sorts of audio, video, and animation, buttons – the works.
